It has been 44 years since Benedictine last played in the NAIA men’s basketball tournament, a dry spell that will end tonight. And the school plans to celebrate in a big way — by trying to shatter the record for the largest crowd to attend a session since the tourney returned to KC in 2002.

NCAA tickets in St. Louis available through Ticketmaster

As of midnight Sunday, tickets for the NCAA Tournament games Friday and Sunday in St. Louis were still available. Tickets are sold in two-game sessions, two for Friday’s games and one for Sunday’s games, and range from $66 to $86 per seat, per session, before taxes and fees. Friday’s games will feature Wichita State, Kansas State and Kansas, but times have yet to be announced.
