Explosive growth puts Garmin atop Star 50 rankings

Star 50 is The Kansas City Star's annual evaluation of the performance of publicly held companies in the Kansas City region. The top company in this year's Star 50 rankings: Garmin Ltd. of Olathe. Also in this year's Star 50: the Top CEO Compensation Report, with Matthew E. Rubel of Collective Brands Inc. heading the list.
