Royals’ Mike Moustakas has torn ACL, out for season

Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will miss the rest of the season, manager Ned Yost said Thursday. Moustakas hasn’t played since Sunday, when he collided with outfielder Alex Gordon.
