Hieronymus Bosch’s ‘Temptation of St. Anthony’ is a priceless gift for Kansas City

The most breathtaking recent discovery about the works of artist Hieronymus Bosch occurred at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. In late 2015, art historians found a photo in a 2003 Nelson-Atkins catalog of a small painting by Bosch called “The Temptation of St. Anthony.” Last February, Dutch experts flew here and announced their miraculous discovery of the artwork.
