Former Chiefs tight end Sean McGrath isn’t alone as other young NFL players retire

Seven months after Chiefs tight end Sean McGrath unexpectedly walked away from football, he attends art classes at Henderson State University. Several young, established players, not unlike McGrath, have recently left professional football, including Chris Borland, the star rookie 49ers linebacker who made national headlines when he retired because of concerns about the long-term effects of concussions.
