Cerner is part of team that wins huge contract to revamp military’s health records

A team of companies that includes Cerner Corp. has snagged a coveted multibillion-dollar contract to overhaul the U.S. military’s electronic health records, the Pentagon announced Wednesday. The victory for the team headed by Leidos is a boost for Cerner, Kansas City’s fastest-growing company, and one of the top health IT firms in the country.

Radkey getting ready to release first full-length album with a ‘mature’ sound

Radkey, a trio of brothers from St. Joseph, soon will release “Dark Black Makeup,” a 13-song recording that puts the band in a new light. Radkey, which will perform Friday night at the RecordBar, has been playing songs from the record live and has released three of its tunes as singles.
