The Kansas City Royals say the lower-level seats between the foul poles at Kauffman Stadium are nearly full of season-ticket holders. The Royals likely will reach season-ticket sales they haven’t seen since before the 1994 strike.
Mayor Sly James joined Wendy Doyle, CEO of the Women’s Foundation, and officers from the Kansas City chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management to launch “When Work Works.” The effort is part of a national initiative that aims to educate and encourage employers to provide workplaces that work for today’s families.
