Royals absorb another 5-4 loss to Yankees in extra innings

For more than five innings, there were potholes and pitching changes and tense moments in the Royals’ crucial rubber match against the New York Yankees on Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium. By the end, the Kansas City bullpen ran out of gas as the Royals’ offense came up empty in a 5-4 loss in 13 innings.

A Clinton Foundation without the Clintons makes the most sense

The Clintons could have erected high walls between Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation while she was in the Senate, while she was secretary of state and now while she aspires to be president. Bill belatedly has pledged to resign from the foundation’s leadership if Hillary is elected. He should do it now, and so should Chelsea.
