Two in custody after Wyandotte County deputy shot during robbery

Police had two possible suspects in custody after an off-duty Wyandotte County Sheriff deputy was shot and critically injured in a convenience store robbery. Police took the two persons in custody about 7:15 a.m. near 47th Street and Ruby Avenue in Kansas City, Kan. A manhunt is still underway for at least one more assailant.
