Hynes finished the course at Raymore-Peculiar Middle School in a time of 18 minutes, 22 seconds and has made quite an impression this season. “I think it establishes her as one of the top runners in Kansas City — there’s no way around it,” LS North coach Gary Kruger said.

Maksim Korolev

•SCHOOL: Harrisonville

•YEAR: Junior

•SPORT: Cross country

Since the KC Metro meet has been held at the middle school, there has never been a runner who has finished the course in 15 minutes, 36 seconds.
