We’re in a little bit of a fallow period on the sports calendar, so let’s peek ahead to an interesting event coming up next week.
The Wizards will hold their inaugural sports career fair July 10 at Dave and Buster’s, across the street from CommunityAmerica Ballpark in The Legends shopping wonderland in Kansas City, Kan.
The fair is for anyone interested in starting a career in the professional sports and entertainment industry and will feature the Wizards, Chiefs, T-Bones, Brigade, Kansas Speedway, Metro Sports and more.
The event starts at 1:30 p.m. and runs until just before the Wizards’ 7 p.m. game with the New York Red Bulls. Registration is $30 and includes a game ticket.
To buy tickets to this event, please call the Wizards at 913-387-3403. For more information, visit kcwizards.com. Registration is limited to the first 250 applicants, so get on the ball. So to speak.
