The week ahead in sports
The Royals will visit the wounded Cardinals this week at the latest incarnation of Busch Stadium in St. Louis. It’s always a high point in the Royals’ schedule, both because of the intrastate rivalry and for the nice respite National League competition provides from the brutal AL slate.
On Tuesday, the Royals will partner with the Power & Light District to hold a free party at KC Live!, where the game will be shown on the 192-square-foot video board. There’ll be lots of specials and promotions in effect from the neighboring establishments and a generally festive atmosphere. The event gets started at 6:15 p.m. and the game starts about an hour after that.
If you can’t make it over to St. Louis, check it out. Visit royals.com for more information on that and all upcoming promotions.
