Your chance to golf with some Kansas City icons and to raise some money for a great cause is just around the corner.
Registration for the sixth annual Joe McGuff ALS Golf Classic is now open. The tournament will be played May 19 at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park. Check-in will be at 11:30 a.m., and the tournament is scheduled to tee off at 2 p.m. In between will be a clinic conducted by Tom Watson.
Besides Watson, George Brett and Deron Cherry are among other sports celebrities expected to participate. All proceeds from the event will benefit the ALS Association Keith Worthington Chapter.
