With the grand opening of the community’s second phase, homebuyers can choose from one of three incentives on the remaining first-phase inventory.
“We’re offering some incredible deals, such as a 4 7/8 percent rate on a fixed 30-year loan; or six months with no principal and interest payment; or a finished basement,” said Rick Peterson, also with Parkside Realty. He said those interested in any of these specials should call for additional details. The Petersons are part of the exclusive Wyngate marketing team.
Thoughtfully positioned by developers within now booming southern Overland Park, according to Alison Peterson, Wyngate has all the attributes that families are seeking in homes these days. “We’ve actually designed the community for young families because of the location.”
“We back to Blue Valley’s only K through 12 three-school complex, which is about a 4-minute walk. Add to that acres of green space; a walking trail; a second-to-none playground area; a basketball court and sand volleyball lot; a swimming pool; and clubhouse and picnic area. Wyngate provides a strong foundation for a fun, family-oriented lifestyle,” she said.
The numbers attest to its strong appeal, according to Rick Peterson. Open for only a short time, he said the demand for homes within the community has been strong. “We just opened our second phase and are taking lot reservations.”
When complete, Wyngate will comprise about 288 homes, which Alison and Rick Peterson described as a distinctive development of elegant homes within a family-focused community.
Alison Peterson said builders Thomson Sailors Homes and B & F Homes play a huge part in attracting homebuyers to the community. Well-known for award after award in recognition of the level of excellence in home building that each builder consistently demonstrates, the two are considered some of the city’s foremost new-home builders, she said.
“Some communities pre-sell to builders, but here, lots can be reserved while a potential buyer works out the details with one of our builders. Since the builders are also the developers, the focus is on the integrity of the entire area and not just one particular home,” Rick Peterson said.
Wyngate is a Thomson Sailors-Fox development. Rick Peterson said phase-two models have received accolades from buyers and real estate professionals.
Prospective homebuyers are welcomed upon entry into the community by a stunning waterfall entrance and premium landscaping, Alison Peterson said. She also said that while many of the amenities are planned for the second phase, an enthusiastic community mother’s group has already formed and they’re busy planning year-round activities.
Homes run the gamut in style and design, and range in price from the $500,000s to the mid-$900,000s.
“Thomson Sailors and B&F offer a wide repertoire of plans. We have four beautiful new model homes open daily and a wide variety of spec homes that can be ready within 30 to 60 days. Depending on where the builder is in the process, a buyer can definitely select colors and other design elements for their home,” Alison Peterson said.
Phase-two lots are priced from the mid-$95,000s to the mid-$139,000s. Stucco, low-maintenance exteriors are standard for all homes, as is a two-year comprehensive builder warranty. Rick Peterson said there is a good selection of greenbelt treed lots.
Natural attributes, such as the stream that runs though the community, a path to the elementary school, 23 acres of green space and a 9 1/2 -acre neighborhood park centrally located within the subdivision for family recreation, all make for a beautiful community environment, he said.
