General George Casey asks the public to share in the grief at Fort Hood.
Fort Hood officials say that 15 of 29 people wounded in last week's shooting rampage remain hospitalized.
A statement issued by Fort Hood Tuesday says three people are in intensive care and 12 others have been moved to recovery rooms.
Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is suspected of spraying a Fort Hood soldier processing center with more than 100 bullets Thursday before civilian police shot him. He is recovering, under guard, at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
