“Things are moving forward at Tuscany Hills,” she said. “We’ve seen a lot of activity on these warmer weather days, and we can’t wait to put the cold weather behind us and enjoy the beauty of spring within the community.”
Italian-inspired townhomes with the privileges of homeownership provide the initial lure to attract prospective residents to Tuscany Hills, the builder said. More than 20 acres of green space are dedicated to Tuscany Hills townhomes that will include about three-quarters of a mile of asphalt walking trail to be in place by late summer.
And with introductory pricing available, limited opportunities exist for homeowners to purchase within Tuscany Hills before a price increase in the next phase of construction. Prices start at $127,900 for a two-bedroom ranch at 1,071 square feet, $137,900 for a two-bedroom two-story at 1,663 square feet and $149,900 for a three-bedroom two-story at 1,805 square feet.
The affordable prices and allure of the community make Tuscany Hills an ideal fit for any homeowner, Walthall said, especially first-time buyers who wish to purchase a home at the end of a spring lease.
A maintenance-provided community, Tuscany Hills casas di citta, or townhomes, are available in a variety of ranch and two-story floor plans. The quality construction and conveniences of the neighborhood have proven popular with buyers, Walthall said. In recent weeks she reported four closings, two pending closings and a to-be-built home with the new Ranch Grande plan of about 1,420 square feet, which includes a basement. During the 2007 Parade of Homes, Tuscany Hills was awarded a Pick of the Parade Grand Award for one of its models, and plans two additional entries for the Spring Homes Tour, which opens Sunday.
