Specially designed cases in the African galleries in the Bloch Building will feature rotating displays of work from the collection.</p><p> This recently acquired “Mask of the Bewitched” from the Central Pende peoples of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will be displayed for the first time when the building opens.</p><p> The piece dates from the early 20th century and is made from wood, chalk, kaolin and carbon.</p><p></div>
