I live on Barry Road east of Interstate 29 and the traffic here is terrible. The on and off ramps for Barry Road are badly placed and, with the numerous lights, I could probably walk to Zona Rosa faster then I could drive there. Some of Zona Rosa’s shops have already gone out of business, so why do they need more space?

Platte County will soon see the opening of a unique new office. Sometime in the next month or so, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation will open a governmental office on Tower Drive in Platte Woods. The location will serve as a site for educational and cultural events and for information on health and employment services the group offers its members.
