VOICES 08/25/08
I’m reading Janice DeMayo’s letter (8/19) about the 1991 war in Iraq. She has one big flaw in her theory. George H.W. Bush didn’t go into Baghdad because he knew we couldn’t win a war there. Too bad his son isn’t as smart.

To Barb Friend (8/17, Voices), no, the deficit is not all Bush’s fault; he had Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice. We’re going broke because of lies. We’re in the red by trillions because of lies. OK, he was faithful to Laura, but I don’t want to be guided by a liar.Sharon Aring
