    VOICES 05/17/08

Shame on you, Kansas City Star. Stop playing favorites. After the last big primary Barack Obama won you printed his picture along with his wife, in color, on the front page. On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton won big. What about doing the same for her and Bill? You’re the only paper we have. Print the news as it is. Stop playing favorites.

OK, let’s see. I have to have a photo ID to open a bank account. I have to have a photo ID to write a check. In most cases I have to have a photo ID to do almost any type of business. But when it comes to doing what is most important in our country, casting a vote, it’s horrible to ask me to have a photo ID. What kind of nonsense is that?

Yes, Lee Judge, the Democrats do have problems: Barack “Don’t ever mention his middle name” Obama, Michelle Obama, Jeremiah Wright, Ayers the terrorist, Louis Farrakhan, and don’t leave out Hillary. Perhaps that is why more Democrats state they will vote Republican for the first time in their lives.
