If Sonia Sotomayor can make a statement about a wise Latina woman reaching better conclusions than a white man and still be ratified to the U.S. Supreme Court, then I think Rush Limbaugh ought to be able to become part owner of a football team. It seems that our First Amendment rights are not for everybody these days.

I agree with Jaime Flynn (10/19, Voices) thanking the road crews in Overland Park for the College Boulevard widening project. I think they’ve done a wonderful job, as well as with their 95th Street project, and those of us in the neighborhood are very impressed.
