Silence on violence, guns, child abuse

There were 108 homicides in Kansas City last year. Many young people live in terror of being shot. KC Airport, hire veterans, motorcycle helmets

Regarding Kansas City International Airport, I’m not fully convinced of the need for a new terminal so I’m looking forward to the publicity campaign being created by Global Prairie. My only request is that it be heavy on facts and low on glitz, starting with proper terminology.

Kansas, child safety, President Obama

Many decades ago (early 20th century), certain books and movies were “banned in Boston” because their content was deemed objectionable by the church or other censorship boards extant at the time. This action usually resulted in the banned book becoming an instant best seller and the movie a holdover hit for months afterward.
