I collect different translations of the Bible. I’m not looking for rare or pricey books, but rather for examples of how different English versions render the same text. And each time I add a new (or, more often, used) Bible to the stack, I thank Johannes Gutenberg.
In this election year, how can we best understand the intertwined relationship between religion and politics in America?
Public schools across America — including in the Kansas City area — shortchange students by failing to teach them about religion and the Bible.
