<strong><span class="subhead">Paltrow to &lsquo;wed&rsquo; Kidman</span></strong></p><p><strong>Gwyneth Paltrow </strong>will replace <strong>Charlize Theron </strong>in &ldquo;The Danish Girl,&rdquo; a film adaptation of a novel about the first post-operative transsexual.</p><p>The movie follows Danish artists <strong>Einar</strong> (Kidman) and <strong>Greta</strong> Wegener (Paltrow), who found success after Einar &mdash; the husband &mdash; stood in for a female model that Greta painted.</p><p>As their work grew popular, Greta encouraged her husband to keep dressing like a woman, eventually leading to his sex change operation in 1931.</p><p><strong>Elizabeth Snead </strong>of The Los Angeles Times was less than impressed with the casting move.</p><p>&ldquo;Two of the coldest and least sexy actresses in Hollywood? Just days after the nighttime TV soap dumped her, <strong>Ashlee</strong><strong>Simpson-Wentz </strong>has apparently lined up a gig to play Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of &ldquo;Chicago.&rdquo;</p><p>Sources say that 25-year-old Ashlee will start in the role in December for a six-week run.
