Add Snoop Dogg to the list of celebrities bitten by the vampire bug.
(We’ve heard that Katie Holmes would be interested in a blood-sucking role if she found the right script.)
The rapper is a big fan of HBO’s vampire series “True Blood” and would love a role on it. “I love that show. I wish I could be on it,” he says. “I’d be a hell of a vampire, don’t you think?”
(Yes, we do. It’s actually quite scary how right he is.)
He’s even gone so far as to pay tribute to the show with his new song, “Gangsta Luv,” the first single from his new album, “Malice N Wonderland.”
“Everyday is the same thang, I creep in/ It’s like ‘True Blood’, I sink my teeth in/ I gotta have it.”
Lindsay: Ideal big sis?
Don’t worry about those pictures of Lindsay Lohan taking her 15-year-old little sis, Ali, out for late nights on the town.
Or so says Lindsay, who tells Life & Style magazine that Ali isn’t likely to suffer the same problems she did (still does?) growing up in the glare of the media spotlight.
“She’s tougher than I am,” Lindsay says of her home-schooled sister. “She has a good head on her shoulders. Maybe it was different for me because I didn’t know what to expect and it just happened really fast. I didn’t have a big sister.”
Now if only Lindsay could just remember that she is eight years older than Ali.
“When I was with her at home, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s right, she’s still a lot younger than me,’ ” Lindsay says. “But I think it’s great that she’s mature.”
Bon Jovi taking up London ‘residence’
Bon Jovi will be in residence at London’s 02 arena next year, kicking off a run of shows in June as part of the band’s “The Circle Tour.”
The band — Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres — is the first group to announce an extended string of concerts at the same venue that Michael Jackson intended to play 50 “This Is It” concerts.
Bon Jovi was the first act to play the arena when it opened in June 2007.
No word on how many concerts the band will play, but talk is that it will rival Prince’s 21-night stand in 2007. Said one AEG Live promoter: “This one could run and run.”
Tickets go on sale Friday at www.aeglive.co.uk.
Andie MacDowell on screen sex
Stargazing would like to take this opportunity to say, for the record, that we are a big fan of Andie MacDowell.
OK, now that that’s out of the way …
Andie recently confessed that she was mortified about shooting sex scenes for two new TV movies.
She plays district attorney Monique Lamont in “At Risk” and “The Front,” both based on mystery books by Patricia Cornwell.
“I play a real bitch, I was a narcissistic sex addict and had to sleep with young men,” she says. “But it was embarrassing because I’m pretty shy and yet I had to look at myself in the mirror and take my clothes off.”
Andie, 51, didn’t let that stop her, saying that it’s unfortunately easy for older actresses to fade into the background. She tells Fox News that she’s determined to stay working for as long as possible.
“We live in a society that sees getting older in a certain way, but I keep trying to tell myself of my value and my worth,” she says.
“I’m really comfortable with my age, I have no shame about that whatsoever and I’m really comfortable in my skin. I want to work because it brings me a sense of self worth and dignity. I like my job.”
When Lisa Gutierrez isn’t watching “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” she’s Stargazing among hopefully accurate reports of celebrity news.
