Oscar winner Al Pacino will headline this year’s Kids Night Out fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City in March.

Pacino joins a long list of A-listers – Julie Andrews, John Travolta, Jay Leno – who have come to town for the annual event.

The night raises money for the operating budget for five local Boys & Girls Clubs that serve close to 1,000 young people daily.

“This is an exciting year, as we bring in a true Hollywood icon to help encourage our youth and provide even more young people with the opportunity for a great future,” president and club alumnus David A. Smith said in a statement on Monday.

This year’s event will be on March 28 at the Overland Park Convention Center.
