Got an Oh Myyy moment? George Takei is asking his Twitter followers, now a million strong

Prolific tweeter George Takei just passed 1 million followers, and he’s celebrating by asking fans for their their favorite moments.

“ONE MILLION TWITTER followers indeed,” the former Star Trek star tweeted on Wednesday. # OhMyyy indeed. Tweet me an # ohmyyy moment using this #. I’m putting together a fan video. — Uncle George.”

Takei reflects on the quirkiness of the plugged-in culture with his Oh Myyy moments and photos, and he has gained a following of loyal fans on social media.

Takei, 76, is best know for playing Sulu on the original “Star Trek,” but he is also an author, stage actor, and social and political activist. He is an advocate for gay rights.
