Andover police said Wednesday morning that two missing teenagers have been found in Kansas City, Mo.

Late Wednesday afternoon, the Andover Police Department sent an e-mail to media seeking the public’s help in finding the two teens.

In a statement e-mailed to media, the Police Department identified a 15-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl and provided pictures of them and asked anyone with information about the two to call 911 or the Police Department.

The two "left their Andover school voluntarily and were last seen in the Kansas City, Missouri area around 11:30 today," the police statement said Wednesday. Police said they thought the two were traveling together and had a handgun, the statement said.
