Twin Peaks says it is “busting out” its Independence location.

The sports bar and restaurant with a mountain lodge theme is scheduled to open March 3 at 19821 E. Jackson Drive.

So it is now recruiting its “lumber-Jills” and holding auditions at the restaurant from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Applicants should be “dressed to impress.”

Job perks include flexible hours, prepaid tanning and fitness packages, and contests to win shopping sprees and vacations.

The “Twin Peaks Girls” wear skin-baring plaid tie-tops, khaki shorts and Ugg-style boots.

But Twin Peaks also is known for its 29-degree draft beers and made-from-scratch comfort foods.

Along with the Twin Peaks Girls, the Independence Twin Peaks will hire 75 people for kitchen and staff positions.

It also will feature 80 high-definition flat screen TVs and fire pits inside and on the outdoor patio.

Twin Peaks was founded in 2005 in a Dallas suburb and is rapidly expanding. It currently has more than 46 locations in 19 states.

The local franchisee opened a Twin Peaks at 14805 W. 119th St., Olathe, in April 2013. It plans to open five Twin Peaks in the St. Louis area.
