Chappell's Restaurant & Sports Museum, a Kansas City staple, was named one of the 10 best sports bars in America by USA Today.

"It's the closest thing to 'Cheers, " Darren Rovell, ESPN sports business reporter, told USA Today. "You feel like you're back in time."

The bar and restaurant, which opened in 1986 at 323 Armour Road in North Kansas City, houses owner Jim Chappell's massive collection of sports memorabilia. Helmets hang from the ceiling, and framed photographs and jerseys line the walls. There's even a baseball signed by the great Babe Ruth.

"There's some really awesome stuff," Rovell said.

Other bars that made the cut: The Cubby Bear in Chicago, Ainsworth in New York, Chickie's & Pete's in Philadelphia, Stats in Atlanta, Bar 508 in Minneapolis, Chatham Tap in Indianapolis, Lagasse's Stadium in Las Vegas, Stadium View Bar & Grill in Green Bay, and Don & Charlie's in Scottsdale.
