— Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers plays his home games at tradition-rich Lambeau Field in Green Bay, a place that feels not so different from Kansas’ Allen Fieldhouse.

So perhaps Rodgers, the former Super Bowl MVP, felt right at home while dropping in on KU basketball practice on Friday. Rodgers is in town to watch No. 15 Kansas play host to No. 9 Oklahoma State on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse, and before Marcus Smart and Andrew Wiggins go at it, Rodgers spent some time with the Jayhawks after practice.

The news of Rodgers’ presence in Lawrence buzzed around social media on Saturday afternoon. (He apparently ate at Free State Brewing Co.) And multiple KU players and coaches documented Rodgers’ visit to Allen Fieldhouse on Twitter and Instagram.

Hey, if you're going to get knocked out of the playoffs early, might as well cross an item off the sports bucket list.
