William Jewell’s Larry Holley wins 850th career game as coach

William Jewell men’s basketball coach Larry Holley got his 850th career win Thursday as the Cardinals defeated Saint Joseph’s College 103-86 in Rensselaer, Ind.

Holley, who is in his 43rd year of coaching and 35th at William Jewell, has a lifetime record at all levels of 850-492 — 763-373 at William Jewell.

Holley is No. 3 on the Division II career wins list among active coaches.
