Woman’s body found near railroad tracks in Pleasant Hill

Cass County authorities are trying to identify a woman whose body was found Thursday morning near railroad tracks in northwest Pleasant Hill.

According to the sheriff’s office, the woman appeared to have been struck by a train. A vehicle was found near the location in the area of East 175th Street and South Boardman Road.
