This week, The Star published a handy guide to Johnson County’s independent doughnut shops.

“If you want to start an argument,” the story read, “just tell someone you’ve found the best doughnut shop in the county.”

We’re betting the same holds true for Kansas City. So we’re wondering: Who makes the best doughnuts in the KC metro area?

Vote in our poll — and if you don’t see your go-to shop on the list, leave a shout-out in the comments section below (so we know exactly where to get our Long Johns and bear claws tomorrow morning).
