Ingels Elementary School will be closed again Friday

Ingels Elementary School will be closed for a second day Friday because of a water main break.

The Hickman Mills School District announced that repair crews ran into several obstacles Thursday, including “harsh exterior temperatures, supply shortages, delay of a city inspection, and complications while attempting to reroute the water main line into the building.”

Superintendent Dennis Carpenter said the district hopes to resume classes there on Monday.

The school is at 11600 Food Lane in Kansas City.
