A man and woman from Overland Park were charged Monday with the sexual assault of a woman over the weekend.

Zachary A. Williams, 26, and Noni J. Winnie, 37, each were charged in Johnson County District Court with rape. Winnie also was charged with hindering the police investigation into the incident and with damaging a wall and electrical switch plate at the Overland Park Police Department.

Bond for each was set at $50,000.

The alleged rape was reported to police early Saturday morning at an apartment in the 12400 block of Quivira Road where Williams and Winnie lived, according to Johnson County jail records.

The victim, whose age was not released, met Williams and Winnie at a bar and was taken back to their apartment, according to the charges.
