• ABOUT KANSAS STATE (8-3): The Wildcats’ last victory was the most impressive of the season, as they defeated Gonzaga 72-62 in Wichita. Jevon Thomas may see his first action at point guard after spending the first semester sidelined for eligibility reasons.

• ABOUT TULANE (7-6): Tulane has lost six of its last nine games after a hot start. Dabney is the team’s main scorer. He is averaging nearly 20 points, and is also an effective rebounder. Stark is also off to a promising start as a freshman, averaging 17.6 points.

• BOTTOM LINE: The Wildcats are hoping to keep their momentum going after winning six in a row.
