Girl, 13, is missing from Warsaw, Mo., area

Benton County authorities on Thursday issued an endangered person advisory regarding a 13-year-old girl missing from her home in Warsaw, about 100 miles southeast of Kansas City.

A grandmother of Cheyenne Masterson discovered the teenager missing on Thursday morning. The girl has run away in the past in the Independence area, authorities said, adding that she may be depressed and has harmed herself in the past.

She may be attempting to travel to Independence along Missouri 7. She is believed to be wearing black sneakers and a purple hoodie and may be carrying a pink backpack and a zebra-print purse.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Benton County Sheriff’s Department at 660-438-6135.
