Updated: 2013-12-19T04:00:01Z

A Jackson County judge has convicted a Kansas City man of robbery, two counts of kidnapping and armed criminal action.

The judge decided late Tuesday that Antonio C. Jackson, 29, had kidnapped two women at gunpoint on Dec. 3, 2011, after they attended a Christmas party at a Downtown bar near Ninth and Washington streets.

Jackson forced the women to drive to a Midtown ATM machine and withdraw $300.

He will be sentenced Jan. 31, according to a statement from the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.
