Need an afternoon distraction? Join Lidia Bastianich of Lidia’s Kansas City and Jill Wendholt Silva, The Star’s food editor, restaurant credit and food blog curator, for a 2 p.m. Google+ hangout with Parade Magazine food editor Sarah DiGregorio.

Bastianich will be live via webcam to discuss holiday traditions and favorite food memories. Tanya Bastianich Manuali, Lidia’s daughter, and Gretchen McKay of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will also be in on the conversation, which you can join here.

Send your food questions — we know you have some! — and they might be answered by Silva, Bastianich, and the other Google hangout hosts.

Happy chatting — and happy holidays — from Chow Town.
