Two days of balmy, then winter returns

Updated: 2013-12-18T14:44:44Z

High temperatures Wednesday and Thursday won’t break records, but they’ll still be about 20 degrees warmer than normal.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 58 degrees on Wednesday and 56 on Thursday, when there also will be a slight chance of rain.

By Thursday night, however, that turns to a 40 percent chance of freezing drizzle. The forecast is for a cloudy Friday with a high of just 29 degrees, and snow is likely Saturday.
