With his contract expiring at the end of the season, Real Salt Lake manager Jason Kreis acknowledged that Saturdays MLS Cup at Sporting Park could be his last match with the club.

Kreis has been linked to openings with the Vancouver Whitecaps and expansion New York City FC, but insisted that he will make his decision after the game.
Yes, it might be the last match that I get to coach with this group and I will soak it up for sure, every single moment of it, Kreis said. That decision is yet to be made and I think it is something Ive done a pretty decent job at putting on the back burner and will continue to do so for another 48 hours.
Kreis played the majority of his career with Dallas before finishing with Real Salt Lake in 2007. He took over as manager later that year. Just two years later he led Real Salt Lake to its first MLS Cup title.
Wingert putting the past behind him
The last time Kansas City saw Chris Wingert, things didnt go so well.
On July 20, Wingert was called for a yellow card after crashing into former Sporting Kansas City forward Kei Kamara. Sporting KC went on to win the game 2-1 and Wingert was later suspended.
Theres no love lost, but I dont think that the past and the history of the matchups weve had against each other matters a whole lot tomorrow, Wingert said Friday. I think you can put that out the window when youre playing in the championship.
Wingert, Saborio ready for action
Kreis said Wingert and forward Alvaro Saborio have both been cleared to play in Saturdays MLS Cup.
Wingert is recovering from a broken rib he sustained in the first game of the Western Conference finals against Portland, and Saborio is working through a pulled muscle from the opener of the Western Conference semifinals against Los Angeles. Kreis said both had practiced the last 12 days and were in contention for both the top 18 and the starting lineup.
Rookie Devon Sandoval had been filling in for Saborio, but he sustained an undisclosed injury this week in practice.
