Authorities have taken a man into custody after a standoff and an evacuation of a neighborhood in Gardner where the man was barricaded inside a house.

Gardner police were called to the 32500 block of 174th Terrace on a report of domestic violence at 6:11 a.m. A suspect refused to come out.
