The Kansas City Star
Seattles CenturyLink Field has roared back into the record books. Seahawks fans re-set the Guinness World Record for the loudest outdoor sports stadium noise on Monday night.
A decibel reading taken during the Seahawks Monday Night Football victory against the New Orleans Saints hit 137.6 just above the reading of 137.5 reached at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 13.
Chiefs fans had been seeking to beat Seattles then-record 136.6 that day and they did when Husain Abdullah picked off Oaklands Terrelle Pryor for a 44-yard touchdown with 1 minute, 35 seconds left in a 24-7 victory.
Now the Seahawks and their 12th Man apparently have had the last shout for now.
