Updated: 2013-12-02T21:26:06Z

Authorities closed one lane of traffic Monday afternoon on both eastbound and westbound Interstate 70 near Odessa following a one-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer.

The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. about 10 miles east of Odessa, according to Sgt. Collin Stosberg of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

It’s unclear if any injuries occurred, Stosberg said, adding that troopers hoped to have all interstate lanes open later this afternoon.
