— Kansas is heading to the Old Spice Classic next November as the field for the eight-team tournament was set on Friday.

The Jayhawks, who are currently playing in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, will join a field that includes Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Tennessee, Xavier, Rider and Santa Clara.

The ninth annual Old Spice Classic will begin on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at the HP Field House in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando.

Earlier this week, Kansas announced that it would play in the Maui Invitational in 2015. Last season, the Jayhawks played in the CBE Classic at the Sprint Center. KU would be eligible to return to the CBE Classic again in 2016.
