KC police investigate downtown hotel robbery

Kansas City police detectives are investigating a morning robbery at a downtown hotel.

The incident happened at 8 a.m. at the Aladdin Hotel, in the 1200 block of Wyandotte St. Police say a man walked up to a hotel clerk asking for change.

When the clerk opened the cash register, the man pushed him aside, grabbed money and ran.

No one was injured.
