The Chiefs and members of the Marine Corps will hold its 48th before Sunday’s game against Denver.

The Marines are asking Chiefs fans to donate new, unwrapped toys for kids up to age 13. The toys will be collected at the Arrowhead Stadium entrances by members of the Marines' Combat Logistics Regiment 4 and local representatives of the Marines Corps League.

Gates for the Scout Investments Club Level open at 12:30 p.m. with the remaining stadium gates opening at 1:30 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m.

Fans can also make a financial contribution in lieu of a toy if they prefer. Cash or checks (made payable to "Toys for Tots") will also be collected at stadium entry points by the Marines.

Last season, the Marines collected more than 1,400 toys and surpassed $15,300 in donations thanks to Chiefs fans. This year, the team is hoping to surpass those figures.
