Kansas City job fair set for military veterans

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Society of American Military Engineers are hosting a job fair for veterans and military spouses from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Kansas City Convention Center Grand Ballroom, 301 W. 13th St.More than 30 employers with jobs in construction, architecture, engineering and environmental science are signed up to attend. Job seekers should register at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-ins are allowed. Proof of military service must be provided.
