Updated: 2013-11-18T03:33:58Z

Alert neighbors spotted an Overland Park house fire Sunday afternoon, helped a woman inside evacuate and also summoned firefighters who happened to be putting out a small grass fire a block away.

The woman did not know the house in the 7100 block of Hardy was on fire.

The fire crew kept the fire contained to the attic and no one was injured. Damage was estimated at $50,000. The cause was still under investigation.
